格魯吉亞駐華大使館于2016年5月23日在北京海航大廈萬豪酒店大宴會廳舉辦了盛大的格魯吉亞獨立日招待會。榮幸的邀請到中國外交部部長助理錢洪山先生為中方主賓，來自商務部、外交部、農業部、中國酒類流通協會、中國土畜進出口商會酒類進出口協會等中格之間政治和經貿方面相關友好人士，各友好國駐華使節參加了本次招待會。
格魯吉亞葡萄酒（中國）推廣中心攜獨格拉則酒莊駐中國辦事處、義烏索倫國際克維烏利紅酒公司、北京昂泰酒業有限公司及北京食發科貿有限公司為格魯吉亞葡萄酒品鑒展示區提供酒品及專業的葡萄酒推介。

大衛?阿普恰烏利大使致辭：他說：I have the honor and privilege to bid all of you a very warm welcome, and thank you very much indeed for joining us here today to celebrate the jubilee of 25th Anniversary of the Independence Day of Georgia, which actually falls on May 26. 5月26日是格魯吉亞的獨立日，今晚我們歡聚一堂,共慶格魯吉亞恢復獨立25周年，我很榮幸的代表格魯吉亞對各位嘉賓的到來表示熱烈歡迎和感謝！
也提到了格魯吉亞深厚的歷史文化： This day marks the rebirth of the small state, which had left a strong imprint on the world history. Situated at the strategically important crossroads where Europe meets Asia, Georgia has a unique and ancient cultural heritage. The progress and development of today’s Georgia is certainly also a reflection of its glorious past as a seat of a rich culture and civilization for centuries。 獨立日標志著在世界歷史留下深刻痕跡小國家的重生。格魯吉亞是一個具有特殊文化遺產的古國,位于歐亞交界處。今天格魯吉亞的發展進步反映了其輝煌的過去，豐富的文化和文明。 This Georgia’s rich history and experience coming from Western and Asian civilizations and based on close partnership with the World community created the preconditions for our current achievements in economic and social life, democratic development of the nation.格魯吉亞璀璨的歷史融匯了東西方的文明，在與國際社會密切合作的基礎上，創造了當前的經濟及社會成就、國家民主主義的發展。
中格近兩年高層互訪頻繁，民間文化交流不斷加強，經貿往來取得了豐碩的成果：Among our friends – China takes an important place and we have to admit a continuing progress in our cooperation for last years. This collaboration has increased in quality and quantity both. Some vivid facts to prove this:格魯吉亞友好國家中中國占據重要的地位。我們必須承認在過去的幾年雙方合作持續發展。以下例子生動說明兩國之間質量和數量上不斷的促進發展：Last year we have convened our dialog at the level of the Prime Ministers in Dalian, a number of the important ministerial level delegations paid visits to discuss the agenda of mutual cooperation in the fields of trade, agriculture, finances and banking activity, agriculture and health care and etc.. This dialog will be continued this year.去年在大連雙方召開總理級別會見，兩國部長級代表團的會見以及對相互各國的訪問，包括貿易、農業、金融和銀行業、衛生等。今年將繼續進行對話。
- China became the 4th biggest trade partner for Georgia.

- We have started a practical cooperation within the frame of the “New Silk Road” One Road-One Belt, Project initiated by President of China, that presents a new interesting model of global economic and cultural partnership.
- 格魯吉亞參與中國總統習近平主席提出的重大戰略構想“一帶一路”并進行務實合作。“一帶一路”將推動沿線國家間一個新的經濟和文化合作模式。
- Shipments of the commodities have been organized by the new railway lines from the China to Europe via Georgian territory have started, in fact, making the implementation of the concept of the ,One Road-One Belt,, Project as a reality.
- 從中國到歐洲，格魯吉亞境內已開始的商品鐵路運輸，是實現“一帶一路”政策的主要體現。
- Then. Georgia’s strategic wine products export to Chinese market increased by 122% last year and, it is supposed, that it will be on a further increasing track. What is important, the Georgia wines brands reached the markets of a number of provinces of China based on the opening of the Georgian Wine Trading Houses. China currently is the third exporter country for the Georgian products.
大使先生特別提到了：去年格魯吉亞向中國的葡萄酒出口量增長122%并在持續增長。通過一系列的活動，目前格魯吉亞葡萄酒在中國已經推廣到了各個省份。目前中國位列格第三大出口國。
- Negotiations on free trade agreement between Georgia and China have been already launched and are in significant progress.
- 格魯吉亞和中國之間已經啟動了自由貿易協定談判并取得了重大進展。
- Above the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, a giant statue of Mother Georgia holds a sward to ward off enemies and a bowl of wine to welcome friends. With this glass of wine in my hand, I’d like to take a moment to say once again, it is an honor and a pleasure to stand with all of you here in the very beautiful country of China, which is both a great nation and a great friend of Georgia.

- Let me now ask the audience for a toast together for the Independence Day of Georgia; for friendship, peace and prosperity of the people as well as for the continued progress within the friendship of Georgia and China.

格魯吉亞葡萄酒（中國）推廣中心自2012年建立以來，一直受到格魯吉亞駐華大使館的大力支持。本次已經是第四次受邀參加格魯吉亞獨立日晚宴活動，并在晚宴現場設立專門的格魯吉亞葡萄酒品鑒展示區。
活動期間，共展示了來自10多個酒莊的30多款格魯吉亞高品質葡萄酒，有干白、干紅、半甜白、半甜紅、白蘭地，尤其傳承了8000多年的格魯吉亞傳統Qvevri陶罐釀制的葡萄酒，以其獨特的色澤、香氣和口感給品鑒嘉賓留下深刻印象。

格魯吉亞是世界葡萄酒發源地有8000年的釀酒歷史；525個葡萄品種、是世界上葡萄品種最多的國家；Qvevri陶罐釀酒工藝被評為世界非物質文化遺產，獲得了眾多葡萄酒大師的贊譽。葡萄酒是格魯吉亞文化的一個重要載體。通過品嘗活動，在格魯吉亞獨立日招待會上，數百名現場嘉賓親身感受到格魯吉亞博大精深的酒文化。
